I was supposed to post these pics up a few weeks ago, but being the procrastinator that I am, coupled with absolutely sucky internet connection, I'm only doing this now. And it's a really really realllllyyyy good thing I saved this post as draft yesterday, cos whaddya know! My computer suddenly hanged while I was typing and then I couldn't restart it again after that...so I wouldn't have had the mood to upload all the pics again if I didn't save it in the first place...see, I smart! haha...

Anyway, the four of us went to Sunway Pyramid on the Wednesday after SPM results came out, before Jian left to go back to Singapore and Leng went for NS and me and Chian stuck as usual in Klang. Oh btw, I forgot to announce this: SIEW LENG IS BACK FROM NS!!! Oh yeah babeh! She'll be here for quite some time and going back again on 8/4 i think. I'm so glad she's back!! Welcome back Leng!! =)

So back to the pictures. As is usual when one goes out with crazy friends, we took photos. Real stupid ones, made fools out of ourselves. But who cares lah. You don't get to look stupid in public all the time right. haha.

This is me and Chian being ambassadors for Giant mineral water.
Nestle yoghurt versus Giant mineral water...
Some Nando's chicken outside Nando's. I don't know the people in the photo. Probably some ulu cina mali punya tourists.
uh...yeah. No caption required. haha. Chian could only stand by shaking his head and professing not to know us while Leng looked embarassed snapping the picture. Hello! More embarassing for us lah ok!! ;p
PIZZZZAAAAA!!!
Lunch at pizza hut...
Oh and we just discovered Jian is actually a vegetarian.
The pearl of the world. hahaha... Guess where we were...

At Bank Pertanian where Leng had to open her NS account. Being extremely efficient as usual, the people at the counter made us wait 45 minutes while they selamba-ly set about doing other tasks. In the end Leng decided to just ask her mom to come and get it done later. (Look at her face...haha) So off we went to Sunway Pyramid.

I wish the four of us could meet more often. Time spent with these people is more than worth it. I spent some time going through all the friends in my social circle, and I figured there are the people you don't know, the people you acknowledge as mere acquaintances, there are friends you meet all the time but never really felt the connection with, there are normal hi-hi bye-bye friends, good friends and buddies whom you love and care for and have fun with, and also people you look up to and respect as mentors. However, there is also a group of real friends whom you truly treasure. These are the people who brighten up your day with their very presence and who bring meaning to the term "True Friends". They remind you what it is to really have awesome people to share your life with, to joke around and be monkeys with, to just sit down and chat with the whole day and still feel there's not enough time to catch up with each other. I really really treasure these 3 true friends and I'm so so SO glad I met them. The Pearl of the World rox!! XD

Jian, Chian and Leng!! I love you all!! (cheesy, yeah, but whatever)

I don't know bout you, but it seems to me that lately, most of the blogs that I've been reading are starting to get emo-er with each passing day. It even affects my mood knowing that some of my friends are going through all that stuff. Maybe I should just stop reading blogs altogether...hmm...

Okiez. 6oclock. Time to break fast. I'm starving giler! And I gotta run cos I'm playing for prayer meeting tonight. Hope I don't screw it up. Haven't touched those drumsticks for months! Chow! =)

I thought church yesterday was awesome. Been a long long time since I paid that much attention during service. But that's cause I haven't really been around on Sundays for the past month. Anyway, Pastor Landa Cope rawks my socks!! We need more women preachers like her lah. People who'll give you the truth and not be afraid to touch on topics which are supposedly taboo. It's amazing how she shed new light on the 10 commandments. It isn't just as simple as we all think it is. I mean, yeah well, it IS pretty simple and straightforward, but if you delve down deeper, you'll see that there's a lot more to the 10 commandments than u previously thought there was. I encourage those who missed the sermon to get the tape.

On Saturday (I'm doing this post in reverse-chronological order. hahah) the post form-fivemers of Sel#1 went for seafood at Port Village. SPM Rangers appreciation or whatever David calls it. Kena bomb by Comm. Herbert for having never been to Port Village. Hello, my family doesn't eat seafood lah. How to go there? I've never even been to Teluk Gong until my aunt came back from NY. So sad right. Anyway, we went for this roadside gingersoupwithwhiteballs thing after that and it sucked pretty bad. Comm Herbert and Kwang Yew and their wives seemed to enjoy it a lot though. Food for the older generation. haha.

Before that I went to INTI college to check out their US day. omg, I SO wanna go to the U of Hawaii! Imagine studying in a place where you also get to surf, hang out on the beach and check out half naked surfer dudes all year round. I would do anything to go there man. But still, I gotta chill lah. See where God leads me. But still, I WANNA GO THERE!! But still...

Then I went to SEGI college. They actually offered me a scholarship, but after much deliberation and talking to my parents I decided to turn it down. I think I made the right decision. Then we went to Summit. My whole family was happily swallowing food at McD's while I practically starved to death watching them eat. The aromatic scent of oily, fat-saturated, extremely-unhealthy-but-who-cares, golden brown, crispy, crunchy fries pretty much killed me. Man, the next time we have 21 days of prayer and fasting, I shouldn't think I'm macho enough to handle it. Fasting from TV is good enough?

On Friday I went for cell at Sister Kim's. Was late but earliest to arrive anyway. We had a lot of fun playing truth or dare. And I shared bout trusting in God no matter what happens and I brought fish keropok for them and my dad came to pick me up early so i dunno how it ended. It was fun and refreshing nevertheless.

OK, gonna go check out other blogs now. =)

I'm feeling so free now, like a bird. And the reason for it is...

MY INTERNET CONNECTION IS FAST!!!!!!

That means:
1. No more peeling my fingernails while waiting for ONE page to appear. That in turn gives me nice nails. Hmm... =)
2. No more mumbling "Oh God, please help. I'm gonna die soon" while waiting for ONE page to appear.
3. No more getting out of my chair in frustration and walking to the kitchen to steal some food while waiting for ONE page to appear. That helps in these 21 days ok...
4. No more going to the toilet to pang sai while waiting for ONE page to appear.
5. No more shutting down the comp without getting anything done due to the immense frustration while waiting for ONE page to appear.

Notice i highlighted the word ONE. Imagine how slow it would be if i had multiple windows open at once. Anyway. u wanna know why it was so slow? Cos it was sharing the splitter with the phone line. So to make it fast, (TIP OF THE DAY!!) you gotta take the splitter and the phone line out and plug the internet line directly into the plug point. So now, it's either the phone or the internet. teruknya. Anyway, it's a good day for me. So, good day everyone else!! =)

I haven't really had the time to sit down and update my blog, and so much has happened in the past few days. Just so you know that I'm not dead, I'm highlighting some stuff that has happened recently in no particular order:

1. SPM results came out
2. I stressed over the Good Friday and Easter presentation
3. I had so much fun talking to sis. Kim and receiving input into my spiritual life at Fruity on Friday
4. I had even more fun watching Charlotte's Web with sis. Kim and Jonathan at night
5. I rushed through my scholarship applications and just discovered I screwed one of them up
6. I FAILED UNDANG (who on earth fails undang huh huh??!)
7. My dad got a new computer which is supposed to be faster than the old one while we're online, but turns out Streamyx is still as slow as ever, if not slower. (How nice. I can just sit down and rot while waiting for one page to appear)
8. I went for vocal training at Grace PJ and discovered Geoffrey Woo is such a gentle giant
9. I talked to Steffi and Ps. Ronald about Ozarks and I'm excited at the thought of maybe applying for a scholarship there.
10. I went back to school yesterday and talked to my teachers and discovered Pn. Norashikin hasn't resigned lah! Rumours rumours...
11. I went to Sunway Pyramid with Leng, Chian and Jian and I had the time of my life. I wish we could do this more often.
12. Leng and Wai Chun left for NS. How come it seems to me more and more of my friends are going away and leaving me behind?!
13. I didn't make it for sleepover at Shannie Baby's ;p

OK peeps, I gotta go. Seeyah!

Forget this post

Logged in to Blogger wanting to blog about some stuff. And suddenly didn't feel like it. So just to finish off what I came here to do in the first place, I'm typing some crap which has no connection to what I wanted to say in the first place. Forget it. I'm hungry. I'm sleepy. It's 2.46 am. What am I doing awake??!

BACK!

Hey peeps, sorry I haven't been updating much. I just came back from Redang yesterday mah...hehe. I wanted to update before I left, but my cacat pc wouldn't let me, so I'm using my bro's comp now. Just gonna show you some pics from Redang kay.

Look at the place lah! it's so heavenly!! It's the best place to die in. Yup, you heard right. Who wouldn't like to die in a place like this? With the glorious sun shining down on you and the light gentle breeze carressing your face while you feast your eyes on the azure blue waters and the green green mountains in the distance. It's so peaceful and calm you can just close your eyes and...die. And when you wake up you're in heaven (provided you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord lah). The transition from earth to heaven is so smooth it feels so good. hahahhah. I'm so funny!!! wakakakka...
All 6 of us posing on the beach

No, we didn't stay in Redang Bay. We were in Redang Pelangi. But Pelangi doesn't have a huge signboard declaring the resort's name like THIS (so LOA!), so I put la this pic, which is the neighbouring resort, just to show you la.

This is Laguna Redang, one of the most expensive resorts on the island i think.

And this is Redang Reef Resort. Gosh I feel like some tour agent recommending resorts. haha.

My aunt and Karen at the Pelangi signboard. Ahhh. THIS is the place we stayed in la.
And this is me hanging out on the beach. The hammock rocks!

Sweethearts in the sea. hehe.

All the more reason why I should learn how to dive. Sigh
My bro acting macho.
Him again...
Siblings!
We were having this conversation and my sister said my brother's story was lame. Then my bro started calling her super lamy baby and she started caling him lamo babo. And all of a sudden i'm lamu Bamboo (wt!)

Got sommor pics, loads of them actually. But I don wanna bore you. So that's about it lah. I'm going back to Redang again some day. Definitely...
